As the Jeep brand strives to become more ecologically conscious, they have undertaken shifts in their design philosophy to reflect this. Nowhere is this more present than in one of their most popular products, the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The all-new Grand Jeep Cherokee 4xe is a plug-in hybrid that abandons the notion that Jeeps must be traditional off-roaders. All Grand Cherokee 4xe models come with a turbocharged 2.0 liter inline-four gasoline engine and two electric motors.

Recently, the women's and family magazine Good Housekeeping released a list of Best Family Cars in collaboration with the automobile magazine Car and Driver. Notably, in the category for Best Full-size SUV, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L won. The Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) worked with Car and Driver to screen hundreds of new vehicles and to identify the top makes and models for 2022 based on six categories: safety, value, handling, interior design, comfort and onboard technology. 

Recently, Auto123.com, a Canadian automotive research and shopping site, awarded the 2022 Ram 1500 its award for Best Full-size Pickup of the Year. The American manufacturer has received huge acclaim for the truck, receiving a 10/10 rating from Car and Driver magazine, where it was also ranked best in its class.
