In a new addition to the Ram Trucks lineup, the Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast provides customers with even more customization and is available this summer. In a new, distinctive Mojave Sand exterior color, the 1500 Sandblast continues Ram's tradition of the lightest, quickest, and strongest light trucks on the market today.

In addition to the new exterior paint color, there are other adjustments that set apart the 1500 Sandblast. These include 18 inch all-black beadlock capable wheels, a panoramic sunroof,  spray-in bedliner, cargo tie-downs, bed step and an LED cab-mounted brake light. The interior has also been improved in this new edition. The seat backs have been embroidered with the TRX logo, which is accented by the Light Frost stitching present throughout the interior. The use of carbon fiber in the interior is also evident; it is combined with black leather in the flat-bottom steering to create an aggressive and sharp look.

Of course, the Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast includes the surpassing performance that has made it a leader among light trucks. The supercharged 6.2 liter V8 engine produces a jaw-dropping 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. All of this power translates to the 1500 TRX going 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and a towing capability of 8100 pounds. This power is delivered to the wheels through an 8-speed transmission.

The infotainment system of the car is modern and up-to-date. It features a vertically mounted 12.0 inch central screen, from which the driver can control the car's Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in navigation, and SiriusXM satellite radio, all of which are standard. The 1500 TRX Sandblast is also incredibly safe. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has granted it a five star overall safety rating. The truck also offers  modern safety technologies, like lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. With all of this, it's no wonder that the Ram 1500 TRX was given a 10/10 rating by Car and Driver magazine. The striking appearance of the Sandblast edition only adds to the base model's superb quality.
