Get Off-Roading!
Now that you have your custom Wrangler, it's time
to get off the easy-going pavement and onto bumpier roads! Luckily, Indiana has
a wealth of trail systems to take advantage of and once you're on them you'll
have a great time and find comradery. Here are some of our favorites.
Badlands Off-Road Park (Attica,
IN): across the Badlands 800 acres you'll find different terrain
surfaces to challenge your Wrangler and off-roading skills. We're talking
stream crossings, mud, dunes, and more! You'll feel like you're in several
different states.
Interlake Property (Lynnville,
IN): this massive park has 50 miles of trails that are just waiting
for you and your Wrangler. There's plenty of trails for all abilities, so it's
a property you can really grow up on.
Redbird State Riding Area (Dugger,
IN): once an abandoned coal mine, this is the oldest state-owned
facility for off-roading and is legendary for how well its managed by a great
team.
The best part is these facilities are multi-use, so
after you spend some time behind the wheel you can go in the water, fish, hike,
and/or hunt! Check out the Indiana Department of Natural Resources website (https://www.in.gov/dnr/outdoor/4432.htm)
to learn about organizations and groups to join that live and breathe the 4x4
lifestyle.
