Happy May! We're celebrating O'Daniel anniversaries left and right, and now it's time for another one-year anniversary with CDJR’s Robert Weiskittel. For Bob, there is nothing more important than taking care of his customers; he has a personal checklist to complete before every customer, and he took some time to share his methods with us.
"He has a personal checklist that takes time," could very well be the understatement of the year. Robert likes to make sure that every one of his customers receives the same level of detail and attention to their own needs, every single time. It's a lengthy checklist but one he has found to work quite well—it goes a little something like this: "Meet-n-greet, build a professional and personal relationship, learn about business history, determine vehicle needs and preferences, document all rebate or incentive opportunities, configure the vehicle to customer specs ..." He even admits, "I am extremely thorough from the start, and I investigate all viable options for the customer.”
Bob's passion for not only the car industry, but his customers shines through in his actions around O’Daniel CDJR. You'd think he was born into the industry, yet, it's only recently Robert found his way into the car business. Before this position, Robert worked in an array of fields such as Accounting, Sales & Sales Management, and General Management. He's happy to confirm, "This is my element, and I enjoy working with business customers."
With one year behind him at O’Daniel CDJR, Bob has learned the importance of determining every vehicle spec the customer is looking for in a car—thus the "Weiskittle checklist" was born. It's no wonder Robert is so passionate about his career when his parents made sure to leave behind a lasting impression of work ethic, integrity, and compassion. "I like people; I don't like to lose. I need to understand things intimately, and I have to do things right. I especially find joy in doing what others cannot."
What's Robert's secret to success? "Build a relationship with the customer first and foremost. Don't rush to the cash register, stay close, but don't be a pest."
Any favorite quotes? "Make Dust or Eat Dust!"
Robert is certainly leaving dust in his wake at O’Daniel CDJR, and leaving a lasting imprint on his customers. Great work Robert and congratulations on one year with O’Daniel's! To many more!
