The Jeep® brand is reviving the powerful Wrangler 392 for the 2025 model year, following an overwhelming response from the Jeep community. Initially thought to be discontinued, the Wrangler 392, the quickest and most potent Wrangler ever, is making a triumphant return, continuing its legacy for another year.
Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America, acknowledged the passionate feedback from Jeep enthusiasts. The decision to extend the Wrangler 392 Final Edition into 2025 highlights the brand's commitment to listening to its dedicated community.
The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 maintains its status as a powerhouse, featuring a class-exclusive 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 engine that delivers an impressive 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. This robust engine allows the Wrangler 392 to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and cover the quarter mile in 13.0 seconds. Such performance makes it the fastest Wrangler ever produced.
In addition to its speed, the Wrangler 392 is designed for unparalleled off-road capability. It comes standard with an 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch, 11.6 inches of ground clearance, and the ability to ford up to 34.5 inches of water. Heavy-duty rock sliders, the Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case, full-time four-wheel drive, and heavy-duty wide track Dana 44 axles with Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials ensure it can tackle any terrain.
The 2025 model will continue to offer much of the standard equipment found in the 2024 Final Edition, including exclusive hood and fender vent decals, black Nappa leather-trimmed seats, a specially monogrammed shifter medallion, and a swing gate plaque. The vehicle also includes a half-inch suspension lift, the Mopar fold-out swing gate table, and the standard Xtreme 35 Package with bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels and 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.
Although the Mopar triple loop grille guard and Mopar Jeep 83-piece toolkit remain exclusive to the 2024 model, the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 retains its rugged appeal and exceptional features. Production of the 2025 model is set to begin in Q1 2025, with orders opening later this year.
The continuation of the Wrangler 392 Final Edition into 2025 underscores Jeep’s dedication to providing its community with the vehicles they love. This move not only keeps the legendary V-8-powered Wrangler alive but also reaffirms Jeep’s commitment to performance, capability, and its loyal fan base.
