Moab, Utah is one of the world’s top destinations for off-roading. With this reputation comes the position of Jeep’s center for debuting and testing their concept vehicles. For 2022, some of these concepts were on display at Moab’s 56th Annual Easter Jeep Safari.
At this unique event, Jeep lovers and off-road enthusiasts got the chance to see some of the newest Jeep builds and concept configurations. Even apart from Jeep’s corporate vehicles, thousands of enthusiasts will have the chance to bring their unique custom Jeeps to the event to drive off-road.
One of the unique builds debuting this year is the Jeep Wrangler Magneto 2.0 concept. This unique off-roader is distinguished by its battery-powered engine combined with off-road capability. And yet, this is only the beginning of Jeep’s electric vehicle range. Additionally, with a manual transmission, this Jeep will allow drivers to maintain complete control of the vehicle—a must for purists.
Jeep’s dizzying array of impressive vehicles on display at Moab were truly a sight to behold for any auto lover. Another impressive SUV is the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe Concept—a trail-ready SUV with a hybrid powertrain for the perfect balance of efficiency and performance. Additionally, an eight-speed automatic transmission allows for effective and fast gear changes, leading to better power delivery.
Other than this model, the event also featured the Jeep ‘41 Concept (an homage to Willys Jeeps from WWII), the Jeep Bob Concept, Birdcage Concept, Rubicon 20th Anniversary Concept, D-Coder Concept, and SEMA concept models. This is quite the diverse presentation of vehicles which all showcase Jeep’s design innovation and engineering brilliance.
Whether the concept is a tribute to legendary past models or a brand-new, hardcore off-roader, Jeep has built an exciting range of off-roaders, some of which will hopefully make it to mainstream production.
