For 2022, Dodge’s new “Jailbreak" models allow customers to add never-before possible color combinations to their Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody Trim models. In the past, there have been restrictions on which colors buyers could add, but now, for the first time, Dodge customers have the option to combine seven seat, stripe, and wheel options, six brake caliper colors, five seat and exterior badging finishes, four steering wheel, seat belt, and floor mat colors, and more. With the Challenger and Charger Redeye models offering 807 and 797 horsepower respectively, buyers can ensure that not only do their cars offer ridiculous performance, but that they can also look the part as well.
For buyers who can’t choose from the sea of options Dodge offers, there are some preset Jailbreak appearance packages available as well. The Old School Challenger Jailbreak model comes with an F8 Green exterior, Warp Speed Satin Carbon wheels, Gunmetal Grey brake calipers, and a Chrome fuel door, among other features. Other preset combinations include the Brass Funky, Red Dawn, The Classic, Yin Yang, and more.
These new Jailbreak models come as a part of Dodge’s "Never Lift" business plan, a metaphor for "never lifting" the foot off the gas pedals. With this initiative, Dodge intends to provide customers and fans with a constant stream of automotive news and new announcements, at least once every three months.
Through these initiatives, Dodge is showing time and time again that its target market includes the most discerning enthusiasts. Its lower-powered SUVs and sedans are great choices for everyday drivers who want a vehicle with power and style, but its top of the line models are truly a class apart. By adding this array of appearance options, Dodge is giving its most discerning customers even more control over their vehicles. Few other brands offer this level of customization, and new Dodge buyers are truly in for a treat.
