Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) from Mopar is further enhancing the exhilarating experience of the 2021 Jeep Gladiator with new half doors. “Open-air freedom is a hallmark of the Jeep brand,” Jim Morrison, Vice President, Jeep Brand North America reminds us all. And that it is — the new half door option is enhancing the open-air experience for the most off-road capable Jeep truck of all time. Gladiator owners will now have the opportunity to let even more of the outside in.
The new half-door option has been engineered, tested, and backed by the factory. They enhance the driving experience without sacrificing production styling, security, and occupant protection. Drivers and passengers can all safely enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors. Not to mention, the view is better than ever thanks to lower window ledges that allow for improved visibility while maneuvering on- and off-road.
Half doors aren’t the only exciting new feature on the 2021 Gladiator. New upper-window assemblies that feature zippered plastic windows for quick and easy removal, as well as create a weather-tight seal. Gladiator owners can select between two materials offered: base-model vinyl or premium acrylic. Both models match their respective soft-top roof for a beautiful and cohesive look.
As the highest ranked midsize pickup in the J.D. Power 2021 Initial Quality Study (IQS), the 2021 Gladiator has a lot to offer without skimping on necessary features. In fact, the new half doors have been designed to work with several other features, including: power mirrors, blind-spot detection, passive and non-passive entry handles, and power locks. The existing hinge locations and exact same wiring connections can be used to effortlessly swap from half doors to full doors and vice versa. With doors made from lightweight and high-strength aluminum doors, one can easily swap between full and half doors whenever you desire depending on mood and activity. As you’d expect, the doors match the body color, while the full doors come installed on the vehicle and the aluminum half-doors are neatly packaged within the vehicle.
All of these features point towards ease and improvement — none of the important security or expected aesthetic features are being sacrificed, so Gladiator owners can feel secure while navigating and enjoying the beauty of exciting terrain.
