Ram states that their trucks are meant to last thanks to over 40,000 hours of vehicle testing in various harsh scenarios and conditions on and off road. Such testing payed off as, when faced against some of the highest-ranked trucks, the 2017 Ram 2500 came out on top.

In Motor Trend’s pickup truck comparison between Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 and Ford F-150 Raptor, the Ram 2500 placed first when tested on Canada’s Trans-Labrador Highway.
