Stretching back to 1964, the history of the famous Dodge Charger has been marked by speed and style. Going through many style changes throughout the decades, the all new 2017 Charger is an amazing full-size sedan with a unique design all its own, pulling in with an upgraded audio system, a new trim, and a new exhaust system.

U.S. News and World Report has given the 2017 Charger a rating of 8.2 out of 10 on its list of best large cars for its critic rating, performance, interior, safety, and reliability.

This new Charger has eight trims: the SE, SXT, R/T, Daytona, R/T Scat Pack, Daytona 392, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat. Five will be described here.

Starting out with the base, the SE is equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. Standard features included in this trim are dual exhaust, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with manual tilt/telescope, dual-zone manual climate control, illuminated front cup holders, a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, remote keyless entry, and power windows with driver and front-passenger one-touch auto up/down.

Stepping up, the SXT trim features heated front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a power four-way driver’s lumbar adjuster, satellite radio, Bluetooth streaming audio, integrated voice command with Bluetooth, an 8.4-inch touch screen, dual-zone automatic temperature control, and CD/DVD/MP3 format capability.

For more engine power, consider the Daytona trim, which has the 5.7-liter V8 engine, performance suspension and four-mode electronic stability control. See where you’re going in any weather with projector LED fog lamps, and charge into view with the matte black spoiler. Comfort is not lost with the performance leather/suede seats marked with the Daytona logo, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, and a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel with paddle shifters. Driver and passenger lower ambient LED lamps add ambiance and safety.

Next up, the R/T Scat Pack trim has a cubic-inch Hemi V8, a 180-mph speedometer, rearview camera, performance cloth seats with Scat Pack Iogo, and high-performance suspension.

Pure power can be found in the Hellcat trim with a 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. Purrfectly fitted with performance Laguna leather starring the Hellcat logo, a 200-mph speedometer, Uconnect 8.4 with Navigation, competition suspension, and a performance-tuned steering wheel this wildcat won’t hold back.

As you can see, the 2017 Dodge Charger has many of today’s latest high-tech features, along with the power and performance of a beast on the streets.
