Chrysler’s 300 series has been running since 2005. Ever since then, Chrysler has made significant improvements to the 300 to keep it relevant and fresh. This year Chrysler has released a new 300 that, along with the Dodge Charger, are Fiat Chrysler’s only American-branded sedans.

The 300 ranks top ten in U.S. News and World Report’s list of best large car, while J.D. Power gives it a score of 8.4 out of 10 for its reliability, performance, interior, and safety.

A spacious, chic interior effectively cancels out wind and road noise, an intuitive infotainment system is at your fingertips, and with powerful engine options— there’s no destination you can’t reach. The standard V6 engine, along with the optional V8, make this vehicle lively on the streets. The backseat has enough headroom for adults and supportive seating, giving every passenger plenty of seating room.

With an array of powertrains, the 300 can be an affordable sedan or a luxurious tourer. Those in the market to own the 300 have four trim levels to choose from: Limited, 300S, 300C, and 300C Platinum.

The Limited trim is the base trim and has heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Nappa leather upholstery, and Bluetooth phone connectivity and audio streaming. It comes with satellite radio, a rearview camera, Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker audio system, push-button ignition, and the Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4 inch touch screen.

For the 300S trim, 8 horsepower has been added to the base engine, hitting 300 hp. The 300S comes with remote start, BeatsAudio system, upgraded interior and exterior styling, and a sport suspension. Also a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, leather and suede front sport seats, ventilated front seats, a sunroof, navigation, adaptive headlights, and driver’s seat and steering wheel memory settings are all optional with the 300S.

The 300C trim has a heated steering wheel, a driver’s seat and steering wheel memory settings, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, a sunroof, a power rear sunshade, and navigation. Adaptive headlights and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system are available with this trim.

Lastly, the 300C Platinum trim has a touring suspension, adaptive headlights, quilted Nappa, chrome accents, 20-inch wheels, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and design elements. The feature that’s optional with this trim is a premium leather-wrapped interior.

The 2017 Chrysler 300 is best for drivers who long for the power of a V6 or V8 engine, with the comfort and practicality of any sedan. Look for this new 300 at your local O’Daniel dealership.
