Mopar is releasing a limited-edition Dodge Challenger for their 80th anniversary. Pietro Gorlier, head of MOPAR parts and service, FCA – Global commented on the release saying, “The MOPAR ’17 Dodge Challenger, our latest limited-edition vehicle, is a testament to this philosophy, showcasing how MOPAR assists owners in personalizing all FCA U.S. vehicles.” There will be 80 models available in Pitch Black/Contusion Blue and 80 in Pitch Black/Billet Silver, with the top section of the Challenger hand painted at the Mopar Custom Shop for a striking two-tone appearance.
The Mopar Dodge Challenger comes equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. The 6.4 liter, 392 HEMI engine pumps out 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque. The Challenger comes with Mopar cold air intake, shaker strut tower braces and caps. Each customer who purchases the vehicle also receives an owners kit which includes a welcome letter, a vehicle “birth certificate," Mopar 2017 keychain and a Mopar 80th anniversary badge. Under the hood there is a serialized Mopar 2017 80th Anniversary badge, including the number of the vehicle out of the 80 made.
The Mopar 2017 Dodge Challenger will be available in dealerships in the second quarter of 2017, a special model for collectors and car enthusiasts to cherish forever.
