Want a truck that keeps its value years after launch? An SUV that can be sold, leased, or traded with little deprecation of value? Edmunds has recognized highly-rated vehicles that age incredibly with the 2016 Edmunds Best Retained Value Award, and two of its winners are the 2016 Jeep Wrangler SUV and the 2016 Ram 2500.

In a nutshell, the Jeep Wrangler is a powerful off-roader. With a 3.6-liter V6 engine, it can wrangles 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Its other accolades include the 4x4 of the Decade from Four Wheeler, the Best Resale Value Award of its class from Kelly Blue Book, and was recognized by IGS Automotive for having the highest model loyalty among non-luxury compact SUVs.

The Ram is also a powerful beast, boasting a V8 engine capable of 383 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. Its strong build and powerful style make it another amazing off-road choice. The Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) named it the Heavy-Duty Pickup Truck of Texas.

Both the Jeep Wrangler and the Ram 2500 are built for strength and durability, so it’s no surprise that Edmunds has recognized them for their long-lasting value. They were built to last, and they’ll lose the least value because of it. Try test driving one today.
