Mopar is giving truck drivers a special treat with their 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel. 500 special-edition “Macho” Rebels are going to come with visual upgrades that will stand out in any crowd. The special-edition options are limited, but Flame Red and Brilliant Black are two standout colors to choose from.
Beyond the sleek color choices, the truck's plastic flares are bigger and the big, matte-black decal on the hood was made to wow. The special-edition comes with standard 17-inch black wheels but with a black skid plate instead of the Rebel's traditional silver skid plate.
This truck doesn't just look tough with the upgrades — it really is. The Ram 1500 Rebel has Four-Corner Air Suspension and eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition to the exceptional torque and reduced CO2 emissions, perhaps the best news of all is that it has the best fuel economy compared to other full-size pickups.
This truck is sure to turn heads, but that comes at a price. The Mopar '16 Rebel even without all of the upgrades is at least $52,460. That's a hefty price to pay, but Ram promises that their trucks are meant to last — and the Mopar upgrade is sure to impress as well. Look for the Mopar 16’ Rebel on lots later this summer.
