We're usually looking to the future here at O'Daniel Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. So every now and then it's nice to take a little stroll, or in this case, family drive down memory lane as we're looking back on thirty years of Chrysler and the minivan.
The year was 1983, Flashdance had just hit the screen, "What a Feeling" was all over the radio, and Chrysler first launched a new type of family vehicle--the minivan. For families here in Fort Wayne, IN, and around the country, it was pretty much love at first sight. Although that 80's style doesn't quite live up to what we have in our new Chrysler showroom these days.
Thankfully, Chrysler is leaving those looks where they belong. At the same time, they're honoring their three decades of minivan-Madness by bringing a 30th Anniversary Edition of the Town & Country to our house... in the middle of our street.
Based on the Touring L trim of the Town & Country, this commemorative model will pack that 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, with all 283 of its ponies under the hood. On the outside you'll have the option of selecting a Granite Crystal Pearl coating to accent those polished 17-inch aluminum wheels. Plus, you'll find 30th Anniversary badging in and around the vehicle, that way they'll always be something there to remind you.
For the full effect, drop by our showroom to take a look at our selection of family-friendly vehicles. If you find something you really like, our auto financing team right here in Fort Wayne can help guide you the rest of the way.
