New 2018 Jeep Wrangler: Moab Edition

Jeep has recently released an all-new, first limited-edition model of its Jeep Wrangler model. Named for the annual Easter Jeep Safari event in Moab, Utah, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab edition revamps the Jeep Wrangler Sahara model by including key features from the Wrangler Rubicon model.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab edition is truly one-of-a-kind. It combines the off-road capability of the Rubicon with the more street-oriented capability of the Sahara. The Moab features the hood, steel bumpers with removable caps, and off-road rock rails from the Rubicon. Those who don’t plan to do any hardcore off-roading might consider swapping the Rubicon’s rock rails for the Sahara’s side steps for no additional cost. The 17-inch aluminum wheels, grill inserts, headlight surrounds, and tow hooks are all painted the same low-gloss black, giving the Moab a consistent and sleek design. The Moab comes equipped with bright, LED headlights and tail lights that illuminate the surrounding terrain.

The Moab has a 3.6-liter V6 engine with full-time four-wheel-drive, Jeep’s new Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Trac-Lok provides limited slip to the 32-inch mud-terrain tires. The Moab also comes with keyless entry and a premium Alpine sound system. Some of the safety features included with the Moab are blind-spot monitoring, rear cross path detection, and ParkView rear backup camera with dynamic grid lines that are displayed on an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system.

The Moab is available in nine colors including Granite Crystal, Black, Bright White, String Gray, Billet Silver, Punk’n Metallic (orange), Firecracker Red, Mojito! (green), and Ocean Blue Metallic. Contrasting stitching on the leather-trimmed seats and leather-wrapped dash come standard with the leather interior package. Buyers can opt for the Sky One-Touch power top or Dual Top Group instead of the body-colored hard top that comes standard.

Some optimal features include a Trail Rail cargo management system, Trailer Tow, and the Cold Weather Group, which provides remote start and heated front seats and steering wheel.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Moab is a limited-edition Wrangler, so if you are interested in this exclusive offer, you should stop by your nearest Jeep dealership soon.
